ORGANIZATIONAL OVERVIEW Hassan Care Foundation (HCF) is a humanitarian non-profit organization established to improve the living conditions of vulnerable and underserved communities in Liberia. The foundation focuses on healthcare, education, and sanitation, which remain critical barriers to human development and social stability. HCF was created in response to persistent challenges such as poverty, unemployment, weak public service delivery, and limited access to essential social services. The organization works in alignment with national development priorities and complements government and partner efforts to promote dignity, equity, and sustainable community development. 2. PROBLEM STATEMENT A. Healthcare Challenges • Lack of ambulances and emergency transportation • Inability of low-income families to afford medical services • Denial or delay of treatment due to non-payment • Limited access to emergency and dental healthcare services B. Education Challenges • Poor conditions in public schools • Unpaid or underpaid teachers leading to interrupted learning • High dropout rates caused by poverty • Lack of uniforms, textbooks, and registration fees C. Sanitation Challenges • Widespread open defecation • Low hygiene awareness in communities • High exposure of children to preventable diseases • Frequent illness linked to unsafe environmental practices 3. PROJECT GOAL & OBJECTIVES General Objective To improve access to quality healthcare, education, and sanitation for vulnerable populations in Liberia. Specific Objectives • Provide emergency medical transportation and mobile healthcare services • Support public education through teacher and student assistance • Promote hygiene, sanitation awareness, and disease prevention 4. PROJECT COMPONENTS PROJECT 1: MOBILE HEALTHCARE & AMBULANCE SERVICES Goal: To reduce preventable deaths through timely emergency medical response. Key Activities: • Procurement of five (5) ambulances • Establishment of mobile clinics in underserved communities • Provision of basic medical and dental services • Transportation of emergency patients to health facilities • Medical bill support for vulnerable patients Resources Required: • Ambulances • Medical and dental equipment • Medicines and supplies • Fuel and maintenance • Medical personnel and trained volunteers PROJECT 2: EDUCATION SUPPORT PROGRAM Goal: To improve school attendance, retention, and learning outcomes. Key Activities: • Teacher incentive and support initiatives • Payment of student registration fees • Distribution of uniforms, textbooks, and learning materials • Support for children from unemployed and low-income households PROJECT 3: SANITATION & HYGIENE AWARENESS PROGRAM Goal: To promote clean, healthy, and safe living environments. Key Activities: • Community sanitation and cleanup campaigns • Hygiene and waste management education • Promotion of safe toilet use • Child-focused disease prevention education 5.
